IMTALK EPISODE 253

News: Results from Abu Dhabi, Pete Jacobs and Chris Macdonald fundraising for Christchurch Earthquake, John's ITU update, new race in old Foster course in Australia.

This Weeks Discussion: Ben Schorr sent through this question: You find out a day or two before your “A” race (Ironman Wherever) that WTC messed up in the race packet and there is a loophole in the rules for this race that would actually allow people to use fins on the swim. WTC decides, for whatever reason, that they’re just going to roll with it this time and though they’re not encouraging it, they won’t stop people from using fins if they choose to. Would you? Comment here

Age Grouper of the Week: Moira Tarry sent through Garth Barfoot for this weeks age grouper. As a 75+ year old athlete he has had some amazing results over the last few years. He just completed IMNZ in 16:43:54. Garth is a great man for lots of reasons!

Website of the Week: James 'The Wiseone' Bowtell sent through Ultracycling.com. It's the place to go if you want to do an ultra cycling event.
